Terms of Service
By submitting a brand or placing a bid you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Brandwar provides paid ranking placement on public leaderboards. A purchase buys a position determined solely by bid amount, displayed until another party outbids it. We do not guarantee traffic, conversions, impressions or any commercial outcome.
2. Placement and refunds
All purchases on Brandwar represent non-refundable digital placement services. Position rankings are dynamic and guaranteed only until outbid by another party under the $1 minimum outbid rule.
2b. Battles and support bids
Bids are non-refundable support purchases. Brands qualify for battle at $1,000, battles run for 48 hours between four contenders in a category, and the highest battle funds at expiry wins. Losing a battle, dropping out of the G.O.A.T window after seven days, or having a listing removed under moderation never creates a refund right. We make no commercial guarantees of traffic, sales, exposure or outcome.
3. Acceptable use
You must own or be authorised to represent the brand you submit. Submissions must be accurate, must link to a functioning site you control, and must not contain illegal, hateful, harassing, deceptive, malware-bearing or sexually explicit material. We may remove any listing that violates these terms, or that impersonates another party, at any time and without refund.
4. Your content and licence
You retain ownership of your logo, name and pitch text. You grant Brandwar a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display that material on the site and in promotional material about the leaderboard for as long as your listing is active.
5. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Brandwar is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding thirty days. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of everything you publish through your listing.
6. Click tracking
Brandwar counts outbound clicks from your listing and displays that total publicly on your card. Counts are provided for transparency and are not a billing or analytics guarantee.
7. Changes
We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use of Brandwar after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
