Rules of the War
The full mechanics of the board, in plain terms.
Base bid
The minimum starting bid for an unranked slot is $2.00 USD. Any brand can enter a category at that price if the slot below the board is open.
$1 minimum outbid rule
To claim a position above another brand, your bid must be at least $1.00 strictly higher than that brand's active bid. Equal bids never overtake — ties are resolved in favour of the brand that placed its bid first.
Real-time re-ranking
Leaderboards sort strictly by bid amount in descending order. Positions update instantaneously upon payment confirmation — there is no review queue, no editorial weighting and no hidden score.
Content rules
Every submission must include a valid logo, a working website link and a description strictly capped at 50 words. No illegal, hateful, deceptive or explicit content is allowed. Violating listings are subject to immediate removal without refund.
Outbid mechanics
Bids are non-refundable digital service purchases for live ranking placement. If another brand outbids you, your listing stays on the board but drops in rank — to reclaim your spot you must place a new, higher bid under the same $1 minimum increment rule.
Qualifying at $1,000
Every brand starts in All Time and accumulates support bids toward the $1,000 qualification threshold. On reaching it the brand is locked as READY FOR BATTLE and cannot take further bids until a battle starts.
48-hour battles
When four brands in the same category are locked and ready, a battle begins under a shared code name and runs for 48 hours. During that window supporters can bid on any of the four contenders; the brand holding the most battle funds when the clock hits zero wins.
G.O.A.T hall of fame
Battle winners are crowned in the G.O.A.T tab and stay on display for seven days, ranked by the funds that won their battle. After seven days they roll off automatically and the category is open again.
Support bids and refunds
All bids are non-refundable support purchases for live placement. Losing a battle, being outbid or a listing being removed for a content violation does not create a refund right.
Moderation
Every listing is subject to moderation. We may edit, hide or remove any brand, battle entry or pitch that breaks the content rules, at any time and without refund.
Click tracking
Every outbound click from a leaderboard card is counted and shown publicly on that brand's listing, so the traffic a rank delivers is visible to everyone.
